Kuukai here, back from vacation in Japan! Sorry to report that while spending all my time at Bandai's booth at the Tokyo Anime Fair I learned even less about the new .hack anime than you did. A semi-review of .hack//Link is forthcoming, but in the meantime I leave you with this exciting news: according to an official post on their forums, veteran .hack voiceactress Kaori Nasuka, who voiced Subaru in .hack//SIGN, Shino in .hack//Roots, and Ryoko Terashima (yes, to anyone following that closely, .hack//Link brought the "sh" back) in .hack//, will be attending the midwest anime convention Anime Central. Dothackers is also planning some .hack-related festivities for ACen, and we'll post an update as soon as we have more details on that. So if you want to attend the North American .hack event of the year (at least until the game is released), don't miss out on ACen! |

Another video that has been floating around the interwebs - seems like this is a teaser for the unannounced (2 of 'em) .hack//Link tie-in Anime. If anyone has spotted a more high quality video of this teaser trailer, please contact dothackers! |

Warning: Somewhat of a spoil - not for any of //Link's storyline, but if you want to be completely in the dark until the game is localized, don't view the video below. There is a ton of speculation going on over at dothacker's message board, so give the video a view and head on over there! |

.hack did something it hasn't ever done - coincide with the release of a Pokemon game in Japan and a Final Fantasy release in the United States! Crazy indeed. According to VGChartz.com, .hack//Link for the PSP sold 63,258 copies in week one in Japan, enough to warrant the #2 spot in overall game sales. The new Pokemon game sold 178k in comparison on the Nintendo DS. Visit dothackers' .hack//Link message board to read all the reactions of fans who have played .hack//Link already!![]() Source: VGChartz |
