Yeah... I was under the impression that an S rank would always unlock a keyword if that area was capable of unlocking a keyword for you... Anyone ever have a failed attempt at unlocking while still having an S rank?

yeah i have that's wut I first thought at first too but then I read that An A rank would unlock it too. Apparently Some Areas give you a key word, but even if you get an S Rank it wont give it to you some areas you have to get an A rank to get the key word.

You can get a Keyword for a level by getting a B-S rank as long as you get at least a B you should get the word for that level, unless of course you already have it.

I have never had a problem getting a word with an S rank, except the missing 3

DotHack-Haseo why don't you try some combo's with Dead Wood? it could be the key to the others. Or go back to an old file that doesn't have Dead Wood and try to get it again, if you are not already .

Yeah that's what I've been doing. I've been playing on my Backup file that doesn't have dead wood so I could find which area its in and tell you where to get it. Because I don't remember where I got it last time that's why I went back to my back-up file to see where to get it. Because the first time I got it I didn't know everyone was gonna want it. So I didnt pay attention to the area name that I got it from.
So, in a nutshell and short version of the story, I'm retracing my steps and when I find which one its in You all will be the first to know. When I find it I will right it down and then I will post it here for all who want it to see. But, I am in the process of doing dungeon number 13 since I last posted and I found a lot of keyword I will post them here later on today so please check back.

Any who I better stop this post before it gets too long. I hope the information I provided was of some help. Thanks for all your feedback too because it prevented me from having to go to areas I didnt have to. And Im pretty sure I did the same thing for yall. So thanks and i'll post again in 1 hour so keep checking back.

DotHack-Haseo this maybe a strange question but, have you ever failed to open a trap chest by not hitting all the buttons? Or hitting the wrong button? Just checking to see if it could be a factor in finding the words

Also has anybody ever seen a Trap Chest with 2 Big Guns in it? I have but only once and it was a jar that had been turned into a trap chest. I so wanted to fail and see what it did but, the combo was so easy (like XXXX) I didn't. Now I don't want to fail because I have never failed to do one in all the 150+ hours I have played, but if it leads to a word I will.

I have, two big machine guns that appeared to be Uzi's, other then that I haven't seen them - Only happened once.

I've been busy since my last post, and I might have stuff to do today as well... It's still up in the air, but I'll continue looking sometime later.

DotHack-Haseo, it'd help greatly if you would be able to tell us the Area Level with "Dead Wood" being the final word in the Area Word... It could help determine where we have to look. If not, maybe .circum//FERENCE can look for us, since they have all 3.

I have seen a number of these actually. But only from the converted chests from the lucky animal, and then only in the Oriental temple dungeons. (I think the dungeon lucky animal is tsutsuga... I know for fields its gold bird)

Also, do you think it's possible that you could acquire them through a B rank? After all, you could get 3rd Word: Foot Stone that way, so why not these three? Just a thought.
