My advice: (possible spoilers)

 -Bring Helba
-Bring a strong attacker type like Sora or Balmung

-Use a fairies orb to find the shortest route possible
-Avoid field encounters
-Use only regular data drain

Just keep at it. It took me a couple of tries, but I eventually got it.[/spoiler]

also be at 0% infection rate since odds are that LV 90 10 floor dungeon put kite at the 100% infection mark.

Do not enter the 15 floor dungeon at that high rate.

Carry tons of healing items and SP recovery items put all rare weapons/armors into elks tavern.

Since the lose 1 random item at 100% infection can still remove 1 of a kind items. Which would suck if that happened.

Another thing. When you get an Usurper Helm from the Dark Asteroid Data Bug on floors 11+, KEEP IT even if no one can wear it. If you're doing the item event, this is just about the only way to get one.

"Game Over" from over DDing is random. When you hit 100%, your chances of getting a system error are just as good as losing an item, restoring HP/SP, losing HP/SP, getting a virus core/item, etc. The higher your level, the more you can DD before you hit 100%.

But the dungeon is a LV 95 area and is mostly data bug infested.

More often then not even at LV 99 and started with a 0% infection rate kite will have a 100% infection rate around the 4th - 5th floors.

Too many Negaguardian Data Bugs tend to show up on floors 1 - 5.

the trick is to arrive at the 5th floor. You must use only data drain or at least multiple data drain (is this its name? i'm italian and in my language its name is Fuga di dati (= data drain ) multipla (=multiple)) to the Mu guardian and only when you have completed to drain each data bug monster set your party to operation recovery! and kill the monsters using ONLY normal attacks. At this point you should be able to arrive at the 6th floor. At the 7th floor open ALL magic portal because on this floor the 90% of the monsters are normal so your infection level will go down. Same thing at the 11th floor.

I finished omega hidden darkside holyground at level 99 with total infection level < 25%!!! (thanks to nicola, my cousin who is very very lucky!)

you could never do that because you have to bring Elk...

anyways my advice, bring elk and helba b/c helba will never die and shell heal you when nessecary... you need to bring elk and another upside is because you need the last hit to lower your data drain and wavemasters will never physically attack you will always get last hit...

Oh, Helba can die very easily if you use DD and get reduced HP and/or SP, and if you get paralized/charmed, not so much with confusion.
It's happened to me plenty of times.

I made the mistake of bringing Helba the first time. The only reason not to bring her would be because given a certain monster you encounter a LOT, bringing two wavemasters isn't a very good idea. The corrupted Mu/Nega Guardians. You know, the ones that come in threes sometimes? The fact that they're so common and Magic tolerant AND sometimes come in swarms AND have data barriers to break, it would be annoying as hell to kill them with two wavemasters. You'd have to do it yourself, they can do nothing but heal.

Sora or Balmung are who you should bring.

I dunno. I couldn't finish that dungeon till I was lvl 99. I had Elk and Helba with me. I would have Elk be obnoxious to the monsters, even the magic tolerant ones so that Kite could beat the tar out of em with Sora's blades (since Death is so effective and they couldn't move due to casting). Helba would sit back and heal to her hearts content. It took a while to go through 15 floors, but patience is the key to victory (at least in my case).

i got to the seventh floor with both helba and elk... the thing about it is when the monsters come in threes and i have to dd all three that takes a toll on my infection. oh and the lower you go the more diverse the monsters get is what i found. when i hit the seventh floor bugged sand hills and turquoise feathers apeared and they were fairly easy the only reason i soped there is cuz i got a level down dd effect T.T so i than got weaker and knew that myinfection would kill me so... oh earlier i posted help for a level 99 area what is the best place to go for training?

go to omega server and hit random til you get a lvl 96 or higher wood area

fight the Astro King

you will need to be set on Operation Wonder Battle and Recover to win

bring Balmung and Wiseman to make it easier

once Kite is Lvl 99 swap Balmung for someone else

Its important to keep wiseman with you as he can heal quickly and with the right staff take out half the Astro King's in one hit

is almost impossible to clear this dungeon on a lv. below 99. (for all 3 characters).....I used  Helba (who´s at lv. 99) or Balmung (raising him at lv. 99) and that was fine (also bringing 15 or 20 fairy orbs).... I could clear it....

I beg to differ...
I finished at Lv. 89 for Kite (I was 91 upon entering...)
99-Helba(duh)
and 93 Elk

It's a matter of luck...I lost 3 levels (nailed by 3-1000xp drains), lost all 99 mage's souls (luckly I still had artesian souls), and I was at 100+% as I entered b3 (entered at 0%)...
IIRC, using drain arc, 2128 drain, and drain heart don't increase the chances of getting a server error, but they do increase your infection rate faster, so if you get a multiple protect break, I reccomend using drain arc ONLY (seeing you lessen the chances of a server error by using DD 1 or 2 times less). Do not overdo it with drain heart (chances are you will still get the rare items plenty of times in the area)

Devoid of Heart wrote:^What a flamer! Do you smell that? *sniff sniff* I smell ban time!

But the level thing is correct. I reccomend for this dungeon, Helba. With Helba and Elk healing you, you are basically invincible.
And when you get KO'ed, you are instantly back up and fighting.

Helba is a nice addition to the team...

I son't use Sora's blades, too weak (but death is a nice addition).
I'll use anything with SP drain and high level skills and stat. bonuses

This is my one of my favorite weapons for kite (the other being prepare to die) though some monsters have immunity to its skills alot of the time. Us it.

Also, I never used Drain-Arc since none of the enemies were protect broken at the same time before. Just use Data Drain all the way through. Yeah, and I used Balmung. I was level 99, and by the end I was 95.
