is tri-edge working with cubia?
is tri-edge working with cubia?
it might be possible that there working together because first in the trailer i saw something that looked like cubia the BOOM! tri-edge appaered or it might be cubia that maked tri-edge so it can look like kite so when kite comes they blame it on him.
So i dont think that cubia and tri-edge have anything to do with each other...Cubia
Morganna could anticipate human behavior and plan ahead. One example of this was Cubia, a monster designed to balance the game against hackers and edited character data.
Cubia was meant to seek out malicious players with illegal abilities or items like the Bracelet and Data Drain them, deleting their PC files. Until Kite received the "Book of Twilight" and the Bracelet, no players fitting this description had appeared, so Cubia had not been seen. Once the Bracelet became active, Cubia sought Kite whenever he came in contact with Aura, because it believed Kite was a threat to the system, to which Aura belonged. Cubia did not attempt to attack Aura or the malfunctioning Morganna because it saw both Morganna and Aura as parts of the game world.
Cubia disappeared when Kite destroyed the Bracelet because the danger to the system was removed and its job was done. Cubia remains in the system, however, and should something new appear that threatens game balance it will launch again. Cubia copied Kite's character data every time it was launched and was able to keep pace with Kite's increasing powers.

Maybe Haseo is a threat to the system. Tri-edge may be another manifestation of Cubia. From his look, I believe he may just be a vagrant AI. That is unlikely though since he seems to play a major role in this. If he is not a player, then he was created by the system. All AIs created by the system have some kind of purpose. But... What is it...?

Even if he was, that wouldn't be enough to activate Cubia. Cubia is awakened when the Bracelet becomes unstable.Maybe Haseo is a threat to the system. Tri-edge may be another manifestation of Cubia.
Ahem...Lycoris? Vagrant AI's can be just as important to the story, if more so, than the human players. From his look, I believe he may just be a vagrant AI. That is unlikely though since he seems to play a major role in this.
not all AI's were made by the system. Look at the Net Slum AI's. Even if they were made by the system, and so was Tri-Edge, if they're Vagrant, they don't have a purpose. To be a Vagrant AI is to be an AI that doesn't belong in the system and thusly has no purpose in it. If an AI has a purpose, it's not VagrantIf he is not a player, then he was created by the system. All AIs created by the system have some kind of purpose. But... What is it...?

You're changing the terminology to fit your own purposes here. The term "Vagrant AI" was created by the debug team very early on to describe all the AIs that kept appearing in the game. They didn't know where the AIs were coming from, and didn't particularly care, except insofar as the knowledge might help them stop the infestation. They certainly didn't care whether these entities that kept screwing up data had any sort of "purpose in the system"; they were a danger to the stability of the game, and that was all that mattered.AuraTwilight wrote:To be a Vagrant AI is to be an AI that doesn't belong in the system and thusly has no purpose in it. What's your source for that? Here's mine, with translation:laysh wrote:They did know where they were comming from the first Vegrant AIs where failed NPCs that the workers messed up on or didn't work right so they Deleted them but once hackers started to notice them they started to make there own.
It is unknown where Vagrant AIs like Lycoris come from, or why. Even I, Kazushi Watarai, an employee of CC Corp, a system administrator, a debugger, who worked on creating the Japanese version of The World, do not know.
