most of the time I look at different styles of mecha, and then attempt to use those as reference. I'm usually afraid that they'll turn out odd, but most of the time they turn out 90% better than I'd expected :0

It's good that you have your own Mecha style. What annoys me the most out of most mechs that I see they're all the same. Sometimes the creators will throw in a little extra design to make it look better but it still looks all the same. I really like your work and Im hoping that one day I can post my own work on here as well. Your drawings keep inspiring me, so maybe one day I could be good as well.

I tried with the bladed hands idea, but it didn't seem to work out that well.. so I'll continue with it later. However, do any of you remember the first drawing I uploaded here (J.A.C.K.A.L)? Well, here's the final, complete, finished version!

EDIT: If you count claws as bladed hand, then I think this would be acceptable >.>

I combined numerous mecha series in the design, and this was the result (note, in terms of height, it's only about 4.7 metres high). Hope you like it!

lineart will come next, and hopefuly I'll add color to it aswell

Looks good. Yeah, I can see that you mixed different mechas on this one.

Also, I really like its head.
